Aubrie Decker

Aubrie is a multi-disciplined artist based out of Ohio. Self taught, she is in a continual state of learning and exploration.

The majority of Aubrie’s art, until recently, has been textiles, repurposing materials in everything she makes. Now painting with acrylic, oils, and oil pastels, Aubrie uses vintage hymnal collage, gold leafing and sometimes incorporates her love of textiles by adding vintage thread embroidery and glass beads for added texture and interest.

Aubrie’s main message in her works reflect something she has experienced and seen time and time again. “The old, forgotten, and even the broken things of this life can be made into something profoundly beautiful.”
