Joanne Hayden

Joanne Hayden is a contemporary artist based in Apollo Beach, Florida, working primarily in acrylics and mixed media. Known for her colorful and playful abstract pieces, Joanne’s work spans a variety of styles—each piece offering a vibrant and captivating glimpse into her creative perspective.

Originally from Illinois, Joanne has called Florida home for over 40 years. After a long and successful career in sales at an environmental testing laboratory, she rediscovered her creative roots—something she credits to her artistic father—and began painting about four years ago. Since then, her passion for exploring different techniques and styles has grown steadily, evolving into a meaningful second career.

Her work ranges from serene coastal landscapes and Florida water birds to bold, expressive abstracts. Several of her coastal-inspired pieces are currently featured at a local art and décor shop in Apollo Beach.

Joanne and her husband, a Florida native, share a blended family of four children and six grandchildren.
