Lynne Menegaux

When Lynne retired that’s when she got serious about her art. Lynne’s work is mostly intuitive…from her head. She has always been drawn to abstract and figurative art. Having collected smaller works of art, Lynne was drawn to encaustic (hot wax) artwork. So much so, she purchased a starter set of encaustics and started playing with encaustic photography.

An opportunity presented itself and off she went to a weekend class on encaustic art. Lynne then found herself taking watercolor classes and acrylic painting classes followed soon after. Once the pandemic hit, Lynne continued with her education and dove deep into the arts to find her voice and is now leaning toward mixed medium and collage art to help her connect with her love for graffiti/street art.

“There is so much talent and information out there that allows me to continue to find myself and who I am as an artist.” Her intuitive side is what feeds her creativity.
